The Department of Aviation at St. Cloud State University is committed to providing the highest quality affordable aviation education for all students it serves with faculty actively involved in advancing the aviation community.

Two undergraduate programs are offered by the Department of Aviation: a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Aviation, which prepares students for professional careers in the aviation industry in Professional Flight, Management, or Operations; and a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.S.) degree in Aviation Maintenance Management, which is designed to provide a cooperative articulated bachelor's degree for students completing an aviation maintenance or avionics certificate/diploma program at a technical college or the military equivalent.

Aviation Minors are also offered for optional study in Flight, Operations, or Management when combined with another university major.

The Aviation Department’s student handbook provides detailed information pertaining to courses, frequently asked questions, program descriptions, transfer policies, scholarships, applying to a major or minor, flight training, and much more.
